The first half of the 15th century witnessed political instability with the disintegration of the Tughlauq dynasty. Both the Sayyids (1414-1451A.D.) and the Lodhi‘s (1451-1526 A.D.) rulers failed to cope with the disruptive forces. The nobles resented and rebelled at the earliest opportunity. It was Babur who successfully cope with the disruptive forces and established his rule over India. Before invading India, Babur had established himself at Kabul (1504 A.D.).
